Frequently asked questions
We understand that sometimes it's difficult to check off every item on your to-do list. That's why we have answered some of the most frequently asked questions on our site for your convenience. Please contact our friendly staff for more information or if you have any questions.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm
We are closed in the early afternoon for lunch recess.
Do I need a Costco membership to have an eye exam?
No. You do NOT need a Costco membership to have your eyes checked at Cambridge Eye Care. You do need a membership to order glasses or contacts at the optical counter.
Do you accept my insurance?
We work with several insurance companies at Cambridge Eye Care. If we do not participate with your particular insurance plan, we can give you an itemized receipt for reimbursement. Costco's Optical Department does accept most major insurances, so you can likely use your benefits towards glasses and/or contact lens purchases.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
If you have any previous eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions, we recommend bringing them with you. If you do not have a copy or are unable to obtain them, then bring your glasses and/or contact lens boxes or containers tops. This information can be very useful and will help the doctor determine how much your prescription has changed.
Do I need to make an appointment?
While we do accept walk-ins when available, we strongly encourage making an appointment. We encourage reserving your time with the doctor by scheduling an appointment.
